Carbon Arts is proud to invite you to CROSS(X)SPECIES ADVENTURE CLUB: MELBOURNE, Wilderness Adventures for the Palate with Natalie Jeremijenko, xclinic, New York.
Thurs 2 Dec, 6 – 8.30 pm
The Compound Interest Centre for Applied Arts
15-25 Keele Street, Collingwood
Launched in New York earlier this year by Natalie Jeremijenko (celebrated environmental artist) and Mihir Desai (molecular gastronomist), the Cross(x)Species Adventure Club is an ongoing lifestyle experiment; a supper club that explores our gastronomic, economic and material interdependency on other intelligent and delicious creatures with a heady mix of art, food and science.
Designed as a taster to whet the appetite, the Club’s Australian debut will see Jeremijenko take us on a cross species journey with three edible cocktails that can be enjoyed by humans and non-humans alike. The cocktail event will be preceded by an afternoon workshop for enthusiasts of modern food and drink technique, also led by Jeremijenko, with remote participation by Desai.
TICKETS: $45 workshop and cocktail event / $20 cocktail event only. Places are strictly limited. Bookings essential!
