The Rudd Government’s ‘Strategic Capability Program‘ is calling for applications for matching grants starting from $250,000 from businesses in the TCF industry that wish to improve their ‘innovation, collaboration, market access, business improvement, skills development, environmental sustainability and ethical practices.’
Consortiums led by TCF businesses or TCF industry bodies are also encouraged to apply.
Applications close on 6 August 2010.

Mark Ogge – New Paintings Exhibition

Mark Ogge is an accomplished painter and has been exhibited widely in Melbourne. He is also a campaigner for the not-for-profit, volunteer run organisation Beyond Zero Emissions.

Mark’s ‘New Paintings’ exhibition opening night is on Thursday 17th June, 5.30pm at at Flinders Lane Gallery.

Celebrating the power of art to create radical social change, the team at artRiot are beginning to build a community of artists who are inspired to evoke change. There will be no nice florals, tepid landscapes or wallpaper portraits. ArtRiot wants their upcoming exhibition to be as memorable as the night the riot started!
Expressions of interest are now open for an interactive, multidisciplinary exhibition at the TAP Gallery in Sydney, 20 September – 3 October 2010.

Art In The Garden: Charity Exhibition & Auction

Throughout the month of June, Gazebo Wine Garden will be showcasing a unique exhibition, with all proceeds going straight to the Ted Noffs Foundation. This is an exhibition with a difference, as what’s being shown is chairs! Seven of Sydney’s creative people have been asked to customise an Eames chair however they see fit. Contributors include Sibella Court, Mary Shackman, Daimon Downey, Arnie Arnold, Ben Frost, Brett Chan, and Sarrita King.
The chairs will be auctioned off at the end of June, but up until then will be available for viewing at Gazebo.
