Artist as Family – Food Forest

As part of the recent In the balance: Art for a changing world, the Artist as Family team (Meg Ulman, Patrick Jones and Zephyr Ogden Jones) helped create ‘Food Forest’ at St Michael’s Church (Sydney). ‘Food Forest’ is a public artwork that’ll keep giving long after the artists themselves depart. The idea is to create an organic garden providing free food for local residents (including the soup Kitchen run by St Michael’s Church), and to create a habitat for local animals and birds.
