What are today’s big challenges and how can we mobilise design thinking to find solutions? The Design Research Institute (DRI) Design Challenge Forum brings together designers, experts and the public looking for passionate and informed discussion about the issues that effect their daily lives and future plans.
Challenges teams to participate in a game plan competition that involves designing and constructing a site in response to a brief within 72 hours. $25k In prize money.

Top 2010 graduate degree design projects from Universities nationally will now be considered for SRD Change : graduate sustainable design exhibition.
Last year $10,000 in prizes, great exposure and the opportunity to promote great projects to a wide audience that encapsulate solid ideas for our future. Apply till 15 April 11
The Big Green Idea is open to any environmentally conscious Aussie eco-innovators who have plans to make a real contribution to Australia’s environmental future.
A maximum of six awards for either $10,000 or $20,000 cash grants will be given in a range of areas including initiatives addressing: waste reduction; transport and travel; energy efficiency; sustainable design; commercially applicable projects for industry; initiatives for creative industries; sustainable design; climate change; and positive communications campaigns.
Applications can be made at Big Green Idea, an initiative of the British Council Australia.
We will run workshops and code sprints to physically (and remotely) work together to implement internet technology and websites.
These sessions will be aimed at people who have design and/or tech skills or for those wanting to learn new skills in these areas.
