BarCamp Geelong – sharing technology skills

July 9, 2011

BarCamp is an open, participatory, not for profit event run for technically minded people. BarCamps are unconferences – gatherings of people who come together to share information, knowledge and experience in a friendly, laid back environment.

Glenn Todd from Bindarri will be participating and happy to show you anything that runs the bindarri tech or other WordPress stuff, so come along and say hello.

Bindarri launches the Garden project – Growing networks for good – Collaborative Tech for NGO’s

In association with Doing Something Good, we will be working to build the online communications systems with members, volunteers and other skilled professionals. Building knowledge and skills into these organisations, their members and supporters.

We have two areas of focus. The first is to implement the tech and the second to train people how to use it. The platforms we like are: Drupal, Open Atrium, WordPress, BuddyPress, WPMU, CiviCRM

Please signup to our email newsletter for updates, locations and dates. More information.
