BarCamp is an open, participatory, not for profit event run for technically minded people. BarCamps are unconferences – gatherings of people who come together to share information, knowledge and experience in a friendly, laid back environment.
Glenn Todd from Bindarri will be participating and happy to show you anything that runs the bindarri tech or other WordPress stuff, so come along and say hello.
In association with Doing Something Good, we will be working to build the online communications systems with members, volunteers and other skilled professionals. Building knowledge and skills into these organisations, their members and supporters.
We have two areas of focus. The first is to implement the tech and the second to train people how to use it. The platforms we like are: Drupal, Open Atrium, WordPress, BuddyPress, WPMU, CiviCRM

You’ve got the skills, and they pay the bills. But, wouldn’t it be great to put those skills to work on the side to solve some of the really big problems?
join other experts in design and development and volunteers with a broad set of skills in software development and design. The goal is to produce practical open source solutions to development problems.
If you’ve been to a hack event before, you’ll know what it’s all about, and if it’s your first time, don’t worry, we’ll take great care of you – all you need to do is show up with your skills, and enthusiasm, ready to make the world a little better place.
