SRD Change is a unique exhibition of graduate sustainable design that often directly challenges conventional expectations. Exhibits are selected from a diverse range of design areas from all of Sydney’s top Universities. They feature innovative visual and 3D works, multimedia and even high fashion garments.

This Australia-wide design competition invites creative, street-savvy designers to design a cutting edge public bike rack that can be seen as a beautiful item of street art as well as a long-lasting, easy-to-use, functional device.

The winner will receive a cash prize of $10,000 and their bike rack will be manufactured and installed.

Leyla Acaroglu, founder and CEO of Eco Innovators, talks to The Age about ”The Secret Life of Things”, a series of animated videos aimed at showing design students and their teachers the environmental and social impact of products.
The Secret Life of Things animation will be screened from July 19 – 25 as part of the Victorian State of Design Festival.
