The Earth Awards International Competition

A global search for creative solutions designed for the 21st century. We are seeking innovations in six categories: built environment, product, future, systems, fashion, social justice.

The Earth Awards will award $10,000 to each category winner. The grand prize winner of The Earth Awards 2010 will receive a total of $50,000. Entries due: May 10, 2010. More info.

Design for Sustainability: Manufacture and Material Selection

The three Design Victoria workshops will present design strategies to assist in the reduction of environmental stressors during each phase of the design cycle. The cycles in these sessions include; manufacture and material selection, use phase and the end-of-life of a product.
