The Finders Keepers are independent design & art markets founded in Sydney, that supports new and emerging independent design. The Finders Keepers encourage and inspire others to harness their creativity and in turn educate communities to invest in handmade, locally produced independent design.
The Finders Keepers Markets are also coming to Melbourne for the first time: Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th October at Docklands.

It’s in the spirit of community and sustainability that Bondi Resident, Creative and sustainability Maven, Ben Peacock is curating the Garage Sale Trail as part of the Bondi Sizzle Community Festival. Bondi residents – fashionistas, creatives, travellers and riff-raff alike – are encouraged to participate in a suburb-wide garage sale.

While the iconic Australian garage sale may seem quite humble amid all the broader talk of sustainability, it remains a highly relevant way of consuming and creating responsibly to reduce the 3.2 million tonnes of solid waste sent to landfill each year.

There will also be a special artistic component to festival where artists can put their garage art on display.
