SRD Change is an annual exhibition of new graduate design and ideas that address issues of sustainability, environmental change and responsibility, social equity and community. The opening night “cocktail” party will be held on Wednesday, August 4th at 6:30PM at the pyd. building, 197 Young St, Waterloo, Sydney. The exhibition runs from 2nd to 15th August, 2010.

The Infoxchange Australia team is very excited to launch InfoxchangeTV, a niche video sharing service targeted at the Australian community sector. The video news and information channel has been established to allow people in the community to tell their stories and showcase their projects using a multimedia format. A diverse range of works including photography, paintings and installations. Each work seeks to enquire how the artist has been influenced by contemporary consumer culture, material possessions and our disposable society. In this exhibition humans are the weapons, programmed to be mass consumers.

The latest Kaldor Public Art Project “The Sound of Red Earth” by Stephen Vitiello will be held at the Brickworks, corner of The Princes Highway and Sydney Park Road, St Peters (Sydney) from 12 August – 12 September. They are looking for volunteers to help out during the project.
